George and Gracie Up-CloseOn March 7th, the first egg was laid by Gracie in a planter on the 30th floor balcony of 201 Mission Street in downtown San Francisco. Gracie and George, two Anatum Peregrine Falcons have been nesting in San Francisco since 2003. I have been following and documenting them with my camera since 2005. This page represents the best close-up images taken on March 7th and also Banding Day May 4th. These photos were taken under the direction and auspices of the San Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group.
