Birding at Crissy Field and GG Park
9:55 AM at Crissy Field, the protected area along the beach. I found a total of 5 Snowy Plover just inside the wet / dry transition of the sand. The Western Snowy Plover is listed as endangered so I was shooting with a 500mm lens allowed me to get good closeups without disturbing the birds. These birds are about 30 ft. away. This shot is uncropped, the rest are cropped for greater detail.
