DESCRIPTION: I thought I would close out the year with a visit to Lloyd Lake in Golden Gate Park. I found the Hooded Mergansers, lots of gulls, Mallards and a lone Great Egret, this first shot is of one of the female Hooded Mergansers, All shots were taken with a 500mm F4 lens and 1.4x tele-converter on a Canon 1D Mk4 body. All shots taken at ISO 1250 in raw format and edited in Adobe Camera Raw.
