DESCRIPTION: I traveled several hours north of San Francisco to revisit a sensitive coastal eyrie to see how the peregrines there were doing this season. I found the tiercel up on a cliff side. I've agreed to keep this site unlocated to protect the safety of the eyrie. All shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and a 500mm f4 lens with a 1.4 teleconverter. All shots were cropped to help show the detail of the birds.
