DESCRIPTION: Charlene & I went to César Chávez Park on the Berkeley waterfront this Sunday. We were going to see if the Burrowing Owls were still around. We did not find any in the short time we were there. But we found this Great Blue Heron close to the parking area. It was searching the grass for pocket gophers. All photos this page were taken with a Canon 1dMk4 and 500mm lens with 1.4x teleconverter.
