Birding at Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco
Saturday morning I participated in the 2nd annual Peregrine count. I set up at my location from last year, the Palace of Fine Arts. I got to watch a peregrine for two hours that time. But this time there were no peregrines in sight. So I made do with photographing the birds that were there that morning. Here is one of at least 15 Black-crowned Night Herons that sat in the trees at the pond edge. This is the only one that I could get a clear photograph of.
