Clapper Rails at Heron's Head Park
After a sunny Saturday sighting at Heron's Head Park, I decided to come back Sunday morning when it was overcast in the hopes of better shots of the clapper rails. I was not disappointed. At one point, I had both adults in view at the same time. This is my first sighting of the morning taken at 9:24AM. Clapper Rail is dead center, Dowitchers are to the right and left of the bird. All shots are taken with Canon 1dmk4, 500mm lens with 1.4x teleconverter, on tripod. ISO 500, all shots are cropped at least 50%.
