DESCRIPTION: I'm standing in front of the visitor's center at the north end of the lagoon at Crissy Field in San Francisco, I had come directly from the Bison Paddock in Golden Gate Park having photographed one of the largest mammals and now find myself photographin one of the smaller mammals found in the city, the Valley Pocket Gopher, also known as Botta's Pocket Gopher
