DESCRIPTION: The time is around 2pm, we spent the morning at Pillar Point Harbor and walked to the end of the beach shown in this photo, the waves of Maverick are crashing against the rocks. This shot was taken from Blufftop Costal Park in the heart of Half Moon Bay. Going south, turn left on Poplar St and go to the end, you will find a parking lot overlooking the cliffs and a way down to the beach should you be so inclined to go there. However, we stayed up on top and this page is to show you what we found when we were there a very windy Saturday afternoon. All shots taken with Canon 30D using a 400mm f5.6 lens or a 500mm f4 lens.
