DESCRIPTION: Saturday we decided to take a road trip down to Santa Cruz in the hopes of seeing Gracie's offspring one more time. Around Half Moon Bay on Hwy 1 we spotted this Red-shouldered Hawk and stopped to photograph it. This shot and the next two were taken with a 400mm f5.6 lens.
